The surcharges apply to the following trade lanes:

• Far East → Durban, South Africa: USD 750 per TEU, effective 22 October 2026 

• Southeast Asia → Northern West Africa: USD 200 per TEU, effective 15 October 2026  

• China → Mozambique: USD 200 per TEU, effective 22 October 2026  

All PSS are applicable to all cargo types unless otherwise specified and remain in effect until further notice. For shipments originating in China, the surcharges will be subject to regulatory compliance requirements—including mandatory filing with the Shanghai Shipping Exchange—and may be incorporated into the published ocean freight rate.

The northern West Africa lane covers the following destinations: Liberia, Senegal, Mauritania, The Gambia, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Guinea-Bissau, Cape Verde, and São Tomé and Príncipe.

These PSS are levied in addition to base freight rates and do not replace existing surcharges. Applicable ancillary charges—including Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF), Terminal Handling Charges (THC), Safety & Security Surcharge (SSS), and other locally mandated or contingency-related fees—remain separately applicable in accordance with prevailing regulatory and operational conditions.
