MSC markets this service under the name “Gulf to SAEC I”, while Maersk operates it as the “UCLA” service. The new southbound call at Suape will be scheduled between Cartagena and Santos in the vessel rotation.  

The inaugural call at Suape is scheduled for 26 October 2026, aboard the MSC Yamuna VI (Voyage 640S).  

Revised vessel rotation:  

Veracruz → Altamira → Houston → Cartagena → Suape → Santos → Itapoá → Paranaguá → Itajaí → Santos → Rio de Janeiro → Cartagena → Veracruz

This enhancement extends the service’s coverage to Northeast Brazil and strengthens connectivity for cargo destined for Manaus—leveraging Maersk’s integrated inland and ocean transport network for seamless transshipment and hinterland distribution.
