Hapag-Lloyd has announced a temporary seasonal adjustment to its CON service, substituting its regular bi-weekly port call at Antofagasta, Chile, with Puerto Angamos effective from 3 August 2026. This modification is implemented to safeguard schedule reliability during the Chilean winter period while ensuring continued service coverage for northern Chile.
Upon conclusion of the winter season, the CON service will revert to its standard bi-weekly rotation at Antofagasta.
The revised temporary CON service rotation is as follows:
Itajaí (Brazil) – Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) – Santos (Brazil) – Rio Grande (Brazil) – San Antonio (Chile) – Callao (Peru) – Guayaquil (Ecuador) – Arica (Chile) – Puerto Angamos (Chile) – San Vicente (Chile).
Hapag-Lloyd has published the initial vessel calls scheduled at Puerto Angamos under this temporary arrangement:
• Maersk Everglades (Voyage 628E) – Estimated Time of Berthing (ETB): 3 August 2026
• Dusseldorf Express (Voyage 630E) – ETB: 17 August 2026
• Maersk Redwood (Voyage 632E) – ETB: 31 August 2026
The carrier emphasized that this interim measure reflects a proactive operational response to seasonal navigational and logistical challenges, without compromising service continuity or network integrity.
