The revised EFS rates are as follows:  

• Long-haul headhaul trades: USD 75 per twenty-foot equivalent unit (TEU) for dry containers; USD 100 per TEU for refrigerated containers (reefers)  

• Long-haul backhaul trades: USD 38 per TEU for dry containers; USD 50 per TEU for reefers  

• Short-sea trades: USD 38 per TEU for dry containers; USD 50 per TEU for reefers  

The updated EFS applies to all trades—whether regulated by the U.S. Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) or not—including shipments to and from the United States, American Samoa, Puerto Rico, Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (including Saipan), Hawaii, and Canada. Implementation commences on 15 August 2026 and remains in effect until further notice.
