The upgraded rotation reinforces end-to-end links among Japan, China, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, and the Philippines. A notable advancement is the introduction of the first market-wide direct maritime connection from Shantou to Thailand and Cambodia, eliminating transshipment delays and reducing end-to-end transit time.  

Additionally, the revised service establishes dedicated direct sailings from Laem Chabang (Thailand) and Vung Tau (Vietnam) to Batangas (Philippines), improving Philippine import/export accessibility and supporting growing bilateral trade flows. The new Batangas call also extends cargo cut-off flexibility for Japan-bound shipments, enabling improved planning and scheduling for shippers in the Philippines.  

The updated port rotation is as follows:  

Tokyo → Yokohama → Nagoya → Shantou → Nansha → Laem Chabang → Sihanoukville → Vung Tau → Batangas → Tokyo  

The enhanced JTX service commences with vessel ASL Hong Kong (Voyage 0QIOLS1NC), scheduled to arrive in Tokyo on 19 July 2026.  

Beyond the new port calls, the JTX service retains and further leverages its established value propositions: expanded export capacity from Cambodia via Vung Tau; a direct Thailand–Cambodia service offering competitive transit times; and an additional Vietnam–Japan gateway through Vung Tau—reinforcing CNC’s role as a key enabler of resilient, multi-hub intra-regional trade.
