During the meeting, both parties reviewed current dynamics in the global container shipping market and identified concrete opportunities to co-develop value-added services connecting Vietnam, China, and other key regional markets. Discussions further covered enhanced cooperation across logistics management, shipping agency services, port terminal operations, and end-to-end supply chain solutions.
Both companies acknowledged persistent industry-wide challenges—including macroeconomic volatility, evolving geopolitical risks, and structural shifts in global supply chains—and affirmed that synergistic collaboration between organizations with complementary capabilities is essential to strengthening operational resilience, improving service differentiation, and delivering sustainable long-term value.
The existing commercial relationship—centered on vessel chartering—is already operational: the container vessel *HAIAN IRIS* is currently chartered to Sinolines. This arrangement serves as a proven foundation for scaling cooperation into additional domains, including joint marketing initiatives, digital platform integration, and shared infrastructure development.
Following the meeting, Hai An and Sinolines committed to establishing a structured coordination mechanism to facilitate regular information exchange, jointly assess feasibility of pilot projects, and advance actionable initiatives that reinforce regional maritime connectivity and support their respective international growth objectives.
