The carrier will launch the new FAK rates for routes from the Mediterranean to the Middle East and the Red Sea commencing 6 July.

For cargo destined for the Middle East Gulf, rates will range from US$6,100 to US$6,700 per 20-foot container, and from US$6,300 to US$6,900 per 40-foot container and 40-foot high-cube container, varying by the origin of shipment.

For cargo bound for the Red Sea, rates will range from US$2,100 to US$3,200 per 20-foot container, and from US$2,300 to US$3,400 per 40-foot container and 40-foot high-cube container.

CMA CGM will additionally levy a Peak Season Surcharge on the same trade lane effective 8 July. The surcharge will be set at US$100 per 20-foot dry container and US$200 per 40-foot dry container.

Furthermore, the carrier will implement a PSS of US$1,000 per dry container for shipments originating from India's west coast to the east coast of South America, with the exclusion of Northern Brazil. This surcharge will take effect on 25 July and applies exclusively to short-term contracts.

Lastly, CMA CGM will introduce a PSS of US$150 per TEU for cargo transported from China to Tamatave, Madagascar, effective 5 July.
