ASEAN Seas Lines has restructured its intra-Asia network by bifurcating the integrated Vietnam–China–Philippines HHX1–SVP2 pendulum service into two distinct, market-dedicated loops—effective immediately.
This strategic realignment aims to enhance operational precision, schedule reliability, and customer responsiveness by aligning vessel deployment and port coverage with the specific trade dynamics and infrastructure requirements of the Vietnamese and Philippine markets.
The reconfigured HHX1 service now serves exclusively as a Vietnam-focused loop, operated by two dedicated feeder vessels—each with a nominal capacity of approximately 1,100 TEU. Its revised port rotation comprises Ningbo, Shanghai, Xiamen, Haiphong, Da Nang, and returns to Ningbo.
Concurrently, the SVP2 service has been refocused as a Philippines-dedicated loop, calling at Shekou (Shenzhen), Nansha, Xiamen, Manila, and returning to Shekou.
Through this optimization, ASEAN Seas Lines strengthens its regional service architecture, improves asset utilization, and delivers more consistent, scalable, and resilient connectivity across key Southeast Asian and Greater China trade lanes.
