GT Lines (Gulftainer) has revised its India-Sharjah Express (ISX) service in light of the evolving security and operational conditions in the Persian Gulf, implementing structural adjustments to uphold safety standards and ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
Under the updated configuration, Khor Fakkan has been designated as the primary maritime hub for the ISX service. All other United Arab Emirates (UAE) destinations are now served through coordinated intermodal connections—specifically, overland transport from Khor Fakkan.
The restructured service comprises two distinct loops:
• ISX1 operates as a direct round-trip between Khor Fakkan and Nhava Sheva;
• ISX2 follows a triangular rotation connecting Khor Fakkan, Mundra, and Nhava Sheva, concluding with a return to Khor Fakkan.
These measures underscore GT Lines’ proactive approach to mitigating regional operational risks while sustaining reliable cargo connectivity between India and the UAE.
