Marsa Maroc has successfully completed the admission of CMA Terminals into the share capital of Nador Container Terminal (NCT), the concessionaire responsible for operating the western container terminal at Morocco’s Nador West Med Port.

The transaction was finalized following receipt of all required regulatory approvals. Under the revised ownership structure, Marsa Maroc retains majority control with a 51% stake in NCT’s share capital and voting rights, while CMA Terminals—subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group—holds the remaining 49%.

The strategic partnership between Marsa Maroc and CMA Terminals was formalized through a binding agreement signed in October 2025.

The western container terminal will feature 900 metres of quay length, a minimum alongside depth of 18 metres, and a container yard spanning 37.5 hectares. Its designed annual throughput capacity is 1.8 million TEUs. Commercial operations are scheduled to commence in 2027.
