Hapag-Lloyd has announced the omission of scheduled port calls at Genoa and Livorno by the vessel Odysseus (Voyage 642S) on the Mediterranean–South America West Coast (MSW) service. The vessel was originally scheduled to call at Genoa on 23 October 2026 and Livorno on 24 October 2026. This adjustment is implemented as a schedule recovery measure to maintain overall service reliability and transit time integrity.
For affected import cargo destined for Genoa and Livorno, Hapag-Lloyd will discharge containers in Valencia and connect them via the subsequent MSW service vessel Cape Spencer (Voyage 643S), which is scheduled to call at Valencia on 23 October 2026.
For affected export cargo, alternative loading arrangements will be made on the earliest available MSW service vessels. Revised booking confirmations—including updated vessel names, voyage numbers, and routing details—will be issued to customers without delay.
All stakeholders are advised to update their shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs declarations, to reflect these operational changes.
