Each vessel will have a nominal capacity of 21,700 TEU. This latest order brings MSC’s total firm commitment for this vessel class at the yard to 30 units.

Deliveries are scheduled between 2029 and 2030.

This order forms part of a broader series originally comprising nine vessels contracted as 19,000-TEU units; their design was later revised to accommodate an increased capacity of 21,700 TEU.
