The new subsidiary will deliver dedicated, on-the-ground customer support and integrate Namibian operations seamlessly into Hapag-Lloyd’s broader African and global service network.
As part of this operational transition, Hapag-Lloyd Shipping Namibia Ltd. will assume full operational responsibility for all liner services previously managed by Inchcape Shipping Services (ISS).
The vessel Luanda Express (voyage numbers 686707E and 686708W) marked ISS’s final handling assignment in Namibia, with an estimated arrival in Walvis Bay on 27 September 2026.
Hapag-Lloyd Shipping Namibia Ltd. will commence operations with the vessel Hanover Express (voyage numbers 686709 and 686710), scheduled to arrive on 4 October 2026.
Pending completion of its permanent facility, the new entity will operate from an interim office located at 149 Sam Nujoma Avenue, Office 2A, Walvis Bay.
