Gemini Cooperation takes a hard stance! Cuts and merges China-Korea routes
2026-09-21

The Gemini Cooperation partners, Hapag-Lloyd and Maersk, have integrated their China–South Korea A04 relay service into the China–Korea–Malacca A14 service, streamlining network coverage and enhancing operational efficiency.

The revised A14 port rotation is as follows:

Xingang → Dalian → Busan → Xingang → Tanjung Pelepas → Singapore → Xiamen → Busan → Xingang

Prior to the integration, the A14 service operated on the following rotation:

Xingang → Tanjung Pelepas → Singapore → Xiamen → Busan → Xingang

The discontinued A04 relay service previously served:

Xingang → Busan → Shanghai → Dalian → Xingang

As reported by DynaLiners, this restructuring extends the A14’s Northeast Asian coverage—adding Dalian and reinforcing Busan’s role as a key hub—while preserving seamless connectivity with Gemini’s core Southeast Asian gateways, including Tanjung Pelepas and Singapore.
