The revisions affect the port calls at Hai Phong, Oakland, and Xiamen.  

Hai Phong and Oakland transferred to the Pearl loop  

MSC has relocated the Hai Phong and Oakland port calls from the Sentosa service to the Pearl service.  

The updated Pearl loop rotation is as follows:  

Hai Phong → Shenzhen (Yantian) → Long Beach → Oakland → Busan → Hai Phong  

This revised routing strengthens end-to-end connectivity among key manufacturing and consumption hubs in Vietnam, Southern China, South Korea, and the U.S. West Coast.  

Xiamen added to the Sentosa loop  

Concurrently, Xiamen has been reassigned from the Pearl loop to the Sentosa loop.  

The updated Sentosa loop rotation is as follows:  

Singapore → Port Klang → Laem Chabang → Ho Chi Minh City (Vung Tau) → Shenzhen (Yantian) → Xiamen → Long Beach → Ningbo → Singapore  

These adjustments optimize MSC’s port coverage across the two Transpacific services while preserving Long Beach as a shared call on both loops—supporting consistent transshipment options and schedule reliability for customers.
