MSC has introduced revised Freight All Kinds (FAK) rates for containerized shipments from the Far East to Sub-Saharan Africa and the Indian Ocean region, effective 1 September through 14 September 2026. 

The origin coverage encompasses all major ports in the Far East, including those in Japan, the Republic of Korea, and Southeast Asia.  Revised MSC FAK Rates (USD per container)  

These FAK rates are quoted exclusive of all applicable surcharges—including but not limited to BAF, CAF, PSS, and ENS fees—as well as local charges levied at origin and destination.
