The revised tariff, effective 16 August 2026, is applicable to both regulated and non-regulated countries.  

Effective immediately, Maersk has eliminated the Equipment Positioning Service charge for 40-foot dry containers—reducing the rate from USD 940 to zero.  

Accordingly, the previously applicable USD 940 charge will no longer be levied on qualifying 40-foot dry container movements to Zambia.  

Maersk stated that this revision supports its strategic commitment to enhancing service value, operational efficiency, and end-to-end reliability across its Africa trade lanes.
