Far East to Mozambique

Effective 10 August 2026, CMA CGM will impose a PSS of US$250 per Twenty-foot Equivalent Unit (TEU) on all shipments from the Far East to the Port of Maputo.

This surcharge applies to all cargo categories, and will remain in effect until further official notice. The application of the surcharge is determined based on the cargo loading date.

Far East to Madagascar

Effective 10 August 2026, CMA CGM will implement adjusted PSS rates for shipments from the Far East to the Port of Tamatave.

A rate of US$250 per TEU will be applied to cargo originating from Far East jurisdictions outside of China.

For shipments originating in China, the PSS rate will be set at US$400 per TEU. Both rates apply to all cargo categories.

Far East to Somalia

Effective 10 August 2026, CMA CGM will impose a PSS of US$250 per TEU on shipments from the Far East to the Port of Mogadishu.

This surcharge applies to both dry and refrigerated cargo, and will remain in effect until further official notice.

Far East to the Seychelles

CMA CGM will additionally implement a PSS of US$750 per TEU for shipments from the Far East to the Port of Victoria.

Effective 10 August 2026, this surcharge applies to both dry and refrigerated cargo, and will remain in effect until further official notice.

For shipments originating in China, CMA CGM confirms that the applicable surcharges remain subject to filing with the Shanghai Shipping Exchange and/or inclusion in the base ocean freight rate.
