Cargo destined for Dammam and Jubail in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia will continue to be routed via the established Jeddah landbridge solution, which remains operational for these specific origin–destination pairs.

Hapag-Lloyd emphasizes that feeder services operating between Fujairah/Khorfakkan and Jebel Ali/Sharjah are not scheduled on a fixed weekly frequency; their deployment is contingent upon real-time assessment of regional maritime safety conditions and port operational readiness. Bonded overland transport between these hubs is estimated to require approximately five calendar days, subject to customs clearance timelines and border crossing protocols.

The carrier further confirms that its Carrier’s Haulage service for cross-border movements from Jeddah into the Upper Gulf remains suspended until further notice. This suspension applies equally to shipments booked under Merchant’s Haulage terms where the consignee is located outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia—regardless of origin port—thereby reinforcing compliance with current regulatory and security requirements governing cross-border logistics in the region.
