The carrier has declared Force Majeure and withdrawn the planned sailing of vessel MV TS Chennai 2604E.  

RCL confirmed that all incremental costs resulting from this operational disruption—including cargo handling, storage, re-routing, transshipment, inland transportation, demurrage, detention, port charges, and other directly attributable expenses—shall be borne by cargo interests, in strict accordance with the terms and conditions stipulated in the applicable bill of lading.

The company emphasized that this decision was necessitated by exceptional circumstances outside its reasonable control. RCL stated it remains committed to closely monitoring the evolving security environment and will resume normal service operations only when safety and operational feasibility are fully assured.
