The service is operated by two dedicated vessels, each with a nominal capacity of approximately 1,800 TEU, following the port rotation: Port Said → Damietta → Koper → Venice → Port Said.  

As part of a strategic slot-sharing agreement, Hapag-Lloyd will participate in the AES under its own commercial branding as the ADX service. This new arrangement supersedes Hapag-Lloyd’s prior ADX offering, which was previously supported through slot allocations from DP World Shipping Solutions’ Egypt–Adriatic service.  

Complementing this expansion, Hapag-Lloyd has also introduced an Intra-Adriatic Service (IAS), connecting Venice, Ancona, and Rijeka. The IAS enhances connectivity among key Adriatic ports and reinforces Hapag-Lloyd’s integrated regional feeder network, supporting seamless transshipment and short-sea distribution across the basin.
