The upgraded service commenced operations on 15 July 2026.
The rotation serves Nhava Sheva, Mundra, and Khorfakkan terminals, deployed with two dedicated vessels—each with a capacity of 1,100 to 1,400 TEUs.
Transit times are as follows: 3.5 days from Nhava Sheva to Khorfakkan, and 4 days from Mundra to Khorfakkan.
Through the Khorfakkan hub—a strategic transshipment node—shippers gain seamless access to the UAE domestic market and onward multimodal connections to key Gulf destinations via GT Lines’ Gulf Connect Network.
Gulftainer states that this enhancement delivers increased vessel capacity, improved schedule reliability, and strengthened regional integration. The initiative directly supports the development of faster, more resilient, and better-coordinated trade corridors between India and the Middle East.
