The secret hidden in maritime shipping! Hapag-Lloyd's dual service upgrade
2026-07-21

Effective Week 29, the revised ADX service will operate weekly sailings between Port Said, Damietta, Koper, and Venice. According to Hapag-Lloyd, the updated rotation reduces transit times to four days from Damietta to Koper and five days from Port Said to Koper—offering expedited solutions for Egyptian exports, particularly temperature-sensitive reefer cargo.

The ADX port rotation is as follows: Port Said → Damietta → Koper → Venice.

Beginning Week 31, Hapag-Lloyd will launch the IAS—a dedicated feeder service linking its Far East SE1 mainline with Venice and Ancona via Rijeka. Designed to reinforce intra-regional integration, the IAS aims to improve schedule reliability, cargo flow efficiency, and end-to-end connectivity across the Adriatic basin.

The IAS port rotation is as follows: Rijeka → Venice → Rijeka → Ancona → Rijeka.

Hapag-Lloyd confirmed that its SE1 service will continue serving Asia–Koper–Rijeka under the Gemini network framework, with newly added calls at Algeciras in both eastbound and westbound directions.
