This GRI applies uniformly to dry cargo containers, refrigerated (reefer) containers, and specialized equipment across the entire Northern Europe–United States trade lane.

For 20-foot dry containers, base freight rates will be increased by USD 400. Illustrative port-to-port rate adjustments include: Hamburg–New York and Bremerhaven–Houston (both rising to USD 3,075), and London Gateway–Los Angeles (rising to USD 3,025).

For 40-foot dry containers, base freight rates will be increased by USD 800. Corresponding adjusted rates are as follows: Hamburg–New York and Bremerhaven–Houston (both USD 4,050), and London Gateway–Los Angeles (USD 4,000).

All revised rates shall remain in effect until formally amended or rescinded by Hapag-Lloyd.
