Diamond Line invests heavily to launch a dedicated Spain-Morocco Shuttle
2026-07-12

Diamond Line has launched a new Spain–Morocco shuttle (SMS) service to strengthen cargo connectivity between the Mediterranean region and North Africa. This service establishes a direct, dedicated link between CSP Spain’s Valencia terminal—a major transshipment hub—and Casablanca Marsa Maroc.

The shuttle operates on a fixed weekly schedule (every seven days) between Valencia CSP and Casablanca Marsa Maroc. It is currently deployed aboard the Contship Ivy, a 925-TEU feeder vessel equipped with 200 reefer plugs to support temperature-sensitive cargo. The vessel successfully completed its inaugural weekend operations at Casablanca Port.

Through this strategic expansion along the Valencia–Casablanca corridor, Diamond Line aims to enhance operational flexibility and capacity for shippers engaged in Europe–North Africa trade. The service is designed to improve supply chain efficiency by delivering more consistent and predictable transit times across the western Mediterranean.
