For Conakry, a PSS of USD 2,250 (EUR 2,000) per TEU will apply exclusively to refrigerated containers. The surcharge will become effective on 15 July 2026 for cargo originating from Africa, Asia, Oceania, Europe, the Middle East, and the Indian Subcontinent; shipments from the Americas will be subject to the PSS starting 1 August 2026. All existing PSS levels for non-refrigerated containers bound for Conakry remain unchanged.
For Freetown, a PSS of USD 550 (EUR 500) per TEU will apply uniformly across all container types—including dry, refrigerated, and specialized equipment. This surcharge will also take effect on 15 July 2026 for cargo from Africa, Asia, Oceania, Europe, the Middle East, and the Indian Subcontinent, and on 1 August 2026 for shipments originating in the Americas.
This newly introduced PSS for Freetown supersedes and fully replaces any previously applicable peak season surcharges for that destination.
