Port Congestion Surcharge – Freetown, Sierra Leone  

A Port Congestion Surcharge (PCS) of USD 600 per TEU will apply to both dry and refrigerated containerized cargo destined for the Port of Freetown, Sierra Leone. The surcharge will be levied concurrently with base freight charges.  

The effective date varies by cargo origin region:  

- For shipments originating from all regions except North America and Latin America, the PCS will take effect on 15 June 2026;  

- For shipments originating from North America and Latin America, the PCS will take effect on 2 July 2026.
