Key stakeholders across the global shipping supply chain and core component suppliers convened at the shipyard to participate in the celebration, jointly welcoming this energy-efficient new vessel to Maersk’s operational fleet.

The company were deeply honored to welcome Malgorzata Kolton, Executive Vice President and Head of Marine at Hempel, to serve as the official godmother of "Tema Mærsk" for the ceremony.

"Tema Mærsk" is the third mid-sized dual-fuel container vessel to join the fleet of Maersk, succeeding its sister vessels "Tangier Mærsk" and "Tauranga Mærsk". All three vessels were built with the core goal of reducing carbon emissions.
