Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) has announced strategic enhancements to its Asia–North Europe container shipping network, effective from late April 2026. These updates—applied to the Albatros and Britannia vessel services—expand port coverage, improve schedule reliability, reduce average transit times, and strengthen direct port-to-port connectivity across this core trade lane.
The revised Albatros service will commence with voyage GA616W (vessel MSC PERLE), scheduled to arrive at Xingang on 19 April 2026. The updated rotation includes the following ports—listed in operational sequence: Xingang → Dalian → Gwangyang → Ningbo → Xiamen → Yantian → Singapore → Felixstowe → Bremerhaven → Gdańsk → Klaipėda → Antwerp → Felixstowe → Singapore → Shanghai.
The Britannia service will be reconfigured effective with voyage QB617W (vessel MSC ANNABELLA). Its new rotation comprises: Ningbo → Shanghai → Nansha → Yantian → Vung Tau → Singapore → Colombo → Felixstowe → Rotterdam → Zeebrugge → Antwerp → Gdańsk → Gdynia → Klaipėda → Antwerp → London Gateway → Mundra → Colombo → Port Klang → Singapore.
Collectively, these adjustments reinforce MSC’s commitment to network resilience and customer-centric service design. The expanded port calls—particularly the inclusion of secondary gateways such as Gdynia, London Gateway, Mundra, and Port Klang—enhance regional accessibility and provide shippers with greater routing flexibility and contingency options.
All schedule changes align with MSC’s broader strategy to optimize asset utilization, support just-in-time supply chain requirements, and deliver consistent, predictable end-to-end transit performance. Customers are advised to consult the latest sailing schedules and port-specific cut-off times via MSC’s digital platforms or authorized representatives for operational planning.
