Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) has officially launched the China–Indonesia Service 3 (CIS3), a new dedicated intra-Asia container shipping service designed to enhance maritime connectivity between major export gateways in South China and key Indonesian ports.
Commencing operations on 16 May 2026, CIS3 introduces direct, scheduled port calls—eliminating transshipment delays—and is expected to reduce average transit times while improving schedule reliability and service consistency for shippers.
Port rotation: Xiamen → Nansha → Jakarta (Tanjung Priok) → Surabaya (Tanjug Perak) → Yantian → Xiamen
As a strategic extension of OOCL’s regional network, CIS3 reinforces the carrier’s commitment to supporting resilient, time-sensitive supply chains across Southeast Asia. The service is specifically tailored to meet growing demand for efficient, end-to-end logistics solutions in the China–Indonesia trade corridor.
