Sidra Line has officially launched the Black Sea Feeder Service (BFS), a dedicated short-sea container feeder route connecting the Turkish ports of Ambarli and Izmit with Novorossiysk—the principal deep-water port on Russia’s Black Sea coast.
The BFS is operationally integrated with Sidra Line’s existing Türkiye–North Africa Express (TNX) service, forming a coordinated feeder network that links the same Turkish gateway ports (Ambarli and Izmit) to both Novorossiysk and North African terminals—including Misurata and Benghazi. This integration enables seamless cargo transshipment and enhances network efficiency across the Eastern Mediterranean, Black Sea, and North Africa corridors.
Both the BFS and TNX services are served by a single, purpose-deployed feeder vessel with a nominal capacity of approximately 600 TEU.
With this strategic expansion, Sidra Line strengthens its regional connectivity framework, improves feeder coverage across key maritime gateways, and optimizes asset utilization—supporting more resilient and responsive supply chain solutions for shippers in Turkey, the Black Sea region, and North Africa.
