Ocean Network Express (ONE) has officially launched the Iberia Baltic Express (IBX) service, a new weekly deep-sea container shipping route designed to strengthen end-to-end maritime connectivity between the Iberian Peninsula and the Baltic Sea region.
The IBX service enhances schedule reliability and broadens regional coverage by establishing a direct, fully integrated link between Southern and Northern Europe—supporting more efficient, predictable, and resilient cargo flows across key intra-European trade corridors.
The rotation calls at Leixões (Portugal), Lisbon (Portugal), Southampton (UK), Rotterdam (Netherlands), Gdańsk (Poland), Riga (Latvia), Klaipėda (Lithuania), Gdynia (Poland), Bremerhaven (Germany), and returns to Leixões—completing a closed-loop weekly cycle. All port names are presented using internationally recognized official designations and standardized spelling (e.g., “Leixões”, “Gdańsk”, “Klaipėda”).
Scheduled to commence operations in May 2026, the IBX service reflects ONE’s strategic commitment to expanding its European network infrastructure, reinforcing service frequency, and delivering enhanced transit time consistency and connectivity reliability for customers across core export and import markets.
