Two COSCO Shipping container vessels—CSCL Indian Ocean and CSCL Arctic Ocean—have successfully transited the Strait of Hormuz, following the earlier suspension of their initial transit attempt, as confirmed by MarineTraffic AIS data. 

This marks the first verified passage by COSCO-operated vessels through the strait since heightened regional tensions began affecting maritime operations.

The successful transit reflects improved navigational safety conditions and is being closely observed by industry stakeholders as an early indicator of stabilizing commercial shipping activity in the region.
