Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) has revised its Emergency Fuel Surcharge (EFS) applicable to the following trade sectors: (i) services between Northern Europe—including the United Kingdom and the ScanBaltic region—and the North East Mediterranean; (ii) intra-European short-sea routes; and (iii) intra-regional services connecting Greece, Turkey, and the Black Sea. 

The revised EFS shall take effect for all bills of lading dated on or after 6 April 2026 and will remain in force until further notice.  

All other freight rates, surcharges, and contractual terms and conditions remain unchanged.
