Sidra Line is set to launch the Algerian Express, a new fortnightly maritime service linking Spain and Algeria to strengthen trade connectivity across the western Mediterranean.
The service will be operated by a multipurpose vessel capable of handling both containerized and breakbulk cargo, thereby supporting diverse export and import requirements.
Initial port rotations will include Sagunto and Alicante in Spain, followed by Oran and Béjaïa in Algeria—key gateways for industrial, agricultural, and consumer goods trade.
By enhancing schedule reliability, port coverage, and cargo flexibility, the Algerian Express is expected to reinforce bilateral logistics capacity and contribute to the broader integration of Mediterranean supply chains.
