Under the revised structure, one loop will focus exclusively on Indonesia, while the other will serve Cambodia, Thailand, and Vietnam. This reconfiguration enables HMM to better align vessel capacity with evolving intra-Asia trade patterns and regional demand dynamics.
According to DynaLiners, the two new services will operate as follows:
KIS – Indonesia-Focused Loop
The KIS service will connect Northeast Asia with major Indonesian ports, operating on the following rotation: Incheon → Busan → Shanghai → Ningbo → Jakarta → Surabaya → Incheon

KVX – Cambodia-Thailand-Vietnam Loop
The KVX service will provide direct connectivity between Northeast Asia and key Southeast Asian markets, covering Cambodia, Thailand, and Vietnam, with the following rotation: Busan → Shanghai → Ningbo → Sihanoukville → Laem Chabang → Singapore → Ho Chi Minh City → Busan

By splitting the former ICN into two specialized loops, HMM aims to improve schedule reliability, reduce port congestion, and deliver more tailored and efficient shipping solutions across high-growth intra-Asian trade corridors.
