According to the carrier, PEX2 will continue operating as a fully dedicated service linking Asia, the Caribbean, and Mexico, providing direct connectivity to the Dominican Republic, Panama, Jamaica, Colombia, and Mexico. This is supported by extensive feeder networks from major hubs in Jamaica, Panama, and Colombia.

Revised PEX2 Rotation

Under the new configuration, the PEX2 service will operate on the following rotation:  

The updated service is scheduled to commence with an estimated arrival at Vung Tau on 27 December 2025, with the inaugural vessel being the CMA CGM G. WASHINGTON (Voyage OPPCZE1MA). The first call at Manzanillo, Mexico, is expected on 6 February 2026.

CMA CGM highlighted two key improvements in the upgraded PEX2 service designed to enhance market access and operational reliability:

• A direct call at Vung Tau, improving access to the Vietnamese market and strengthening connections with Southeast Asian feeder services.  

• A direct call at Manzanillo, Mexico, introducing a new dedicated solution for Mexican import and export cargo flows starting in 2026.

Phased Implementation

The service upgrade will be implemented in two phases:

• Phase 1 (Weeks 1 to 7): The new rotation will be introduced, including additional calls at Vung Tau and Manzanillo (Mexico), while the call at Singapore will be temporarily retained during the transition period.

• Phase 2 (Starting from the estimated arrival at Vung Tau on 18 February 2026): Full implementation of the definitive rotation, with the removal of the Singapore call and stabilization of the revised network.

  
  

CMA CGM also confirmed that Caribbean destinations served via transshipment hubs in Latin America will remain fully accessible throughout 2026, ensuring uninterrupted coverage for regional markets.
