CMA CGM and COSCO Shipping Lines/OOCL have jointly announced a temporary adjustment to the westbound port rotation of their EPIC/IP1 service, whereby the call at Tangier will be substituted with Algeciras, effective immediately. This modification, as reported by industry news, is anticipated to remain in effect until at least December 2026.

The EPIC service provides a key maritime link between Northern Europe and the Middle East–Indian Subcontinent trade corridor, calling at major gateway ports across these regions.

Revised EPIC Service Rotation (Westbound):

Algeciras → Southampton → Rotterdam → Hamburg → Antwerp → Le Havre → Algeciras → Jeddah → Duqm → Mundra → Nhava Sheva → Colombo → Jeddah → Algeciras

Under this revised schedule, Tangier is temporarily omitted from the westbound leg, while Algeciras is incorporated as an additional or replacement call—maintaining service continuity and operational efficiency.
