This VGM service is available to customers requiring Maersk to arrange and certify the verified gross mass of eligible export containers prior to vessel loading.

Service scope and applicable charge:  

Loading port: Milazzo, Italy  

Destination: Worldwide  

Equipment: All container types  

Charge: EUR 50 per container (payable at origin)

Terms and conditions:  

• The EUR 50 fee applies exclusively to VGM certification services rendered by Maersk at Milazzo and is invoiced at origin.  

• For non-SPOT bookings, the applicable rate is determined based on the Price Calculation Date—defined as the scheduled departure date of the first ocean leg, as confirmed at booking.  

• For FMC-regulated shipments, the Price Calculation Date corresponds to the latest container gate-in date at the terminal.  

• For SPOT bookings, the rate is determined either by the booking confirmation date or, if specified in the confirmation, the estimated departure date of the first vessel—whichever is later.  

• In addition to the base VGM fee, standard local charges and any applicable contingency surcharges may be levied in accordance with prevailing regulatory and operational requirements.
