Pacific International Lines (PIL) is expanding its Intra-Asia shipping network via two new services linking China to Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia.Specifically, the carrier will upgrade its existing North China Indonesia (NCI) Service and launch a brand-new China Singapore Malaysia (CSM) Service.

Both services will operate on a weekly basis and support the transportation of dry and reefer cargo.

NCI Service Connecting China, Indonesia and Singapore

The upgraded North China Indonesia Service is scheduled to commence its first voyage from Qingdao on 8 November 2026. It will maintain a direct weekly connection between China, Indonesia and Singapore.

According to PIL, the NCI Service was designed to accommodate the growing trade volume and reefer cargo flows between China and Indonesia. The service will be operated by a vessel consortium.

New China Singapore Malaysia Service

PIL will launch the new CSM Service starting from Tianjin on 27 October 2026. This weekly service connects ports in northern and southern China to Singapore and key gateway ports in West Malaysia. Additionally, customers can access PIL’s broader global network via transshipment connections at the Port of Singapore.

“Asia remains a core growth engine for global trade, and we are observing rising demand for efficient, reliable connectivity across the region,” noted Rita Wong, General Manager of Intra-Asia Services at PIL.

She further added that the two new services will deliver expanded port coverage and improved market access across China, Indonesia and Malaysia. PIL states that this network expansion will strengthen its regional shipping layout and provide additional connectivity for the Intra-Asia market.
