The revised BAF will take effect on 1 October 2026 and will apply uniformly to both import and export shipments.  

Revised BAF Levels (Effective 1 October 2026, EUR):  

• Full rolling units: EUR 718 per unit  

• Empty rolling units: EUR 475 per unit  

• Other rolling equipment: EUR 80 per linear metre  

 – Includes trucks, earth-moving machinery, tracked or wheeled construction equipment, agricultural machinery, and livestock transport vehicles  

• Passenger cars and minivans: EUR 273 per unit  

• Breakbulk cargo: EUR 44 per cubic metre  

This adjustment reflects updated marine fuel (bunker) price indices since the prior BAF revision and aligns with CMA CGM’s standard BAF methodology. The new rates apply exclusively to the Ro-Ro South service linking French and Tunisian ports.
