This surcharge applies to LCL cargo originating from all global locations except the Far East Asia region and will remain in effect until further notice.  

Effective Dates:  

• For non-regulated trade lanes, the surcharge became effective on 17 September 2026, based on the Price Calculation Date.  

• For regulated trade lanes—including the United States, Guam, American Samoa, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Colombia, Puerto Rico, and Brazil—the surcharge will apply starting 11 October 2026.  

OCR Surcharge Tariff Levels (USD):  

Origin: Worldwide (excluding Far East Asia) → Destination: Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and Iraq  

• 20-foot dry container: USD 500  

• 40-foot dry / High Cube container: USD 500  

• LCL shipments (minimum charge and weight-or-measurement basis): USD 14  

The surcharge will be applied using the official OCR surcharge code in Maersk’s tariff system.
