This adjustment becomes effective for all shipments with a Price Calculation Date of 17 September 2026 or later, and applies across Maersk’s E1W and E2W trade corridors.  

Geographical scope:  

The surcharge removal covers LCL cargo originating from the following markets:  

• Brunei Darussalam  

• People’s Republic of China  

• Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (China)  

• Republic of Indonesia  

• Japan  

• Kingdom of Cambodia  

• Mongolia  

• Republic of Korea  

• Lao People’s Democratic Republic  

• Republic of the Union of Myanmar  

• Malaysia  

• Republic of the Philippines  

• Singapore  

• Taiwan (China)

• Kingdom of Thailand  

• Socialist Republic of Vietnam  

Eligible LCL shipments from these origins to destinations in North Europe and the Mediterranean will no longer be subject to the Peak Season Surcharge.
