The adjustment reflects observed fluctuations in global bunker fuel prices over the preceding assessment period, in accordance with ANL’s established BAF methodology.
New Zealand–Pacific Islands Trade Lane
For dry container shipments between New Zealand and Tonga, Samoa, American Samoa, and Fiji, the revised BAF is USD 217 per TEU. Refrigerated (reefer) container shipments will incur a BAF of USD 325.50 per TEU. These rates apply equally to outbound and inbound (return) movements to New Zealand.
Australia–Pacific Islands Trade Lane
For dry container shipments between Australia and Tonga, Samoa, and American Samoa, the BAF is set at USD 619 per TEU. Reefer container shipments are subject to a BAF of USD 927 per TEU. The same rates apply to return shipments destined for Australia.
Inter-Island Trade Lane
For intra-Pacific island shipments among Tonga, Samoa, American Samoa, and Fiji, the BAF is USD 336 per TEU for dry containers and USD 504 per TEU for reefer containers.
As a member of the CMA CGM Group, ANL confirms that the revised BAF applies to all cargo loaded on or after 1 October 2026, based on the vessel’s loading date. All applicable BAF values are calculated exclusive of local taxes and other statutory surcharges.
