Hapag-Lloyd officially announces: it will raise freight rates for India-Pakistan routes
2026-09-02

This revision applies to containerized dry cargo services originating from ports in North Europe, the Mediterranean, and the Black Sea, destined for key ports on India’s west coast (Nhava Sheva and Mundra) and in Pakistan (Karachi and Port Qasim). The revised rates shall remain in effect until further notice.

*Note:* The above adjustments reflect a uniform increase of USD 100 per TEU across all listed origin–destination–equipment combinations. This change does not affect other contractual terms, including validity periods, surcharge applicability, or service conditions, unless otherwise specified in individual agreements.

Should you require clarification or wish to discuss implications for your specific trade lanes, please do not hesitate to contact your dedicated Hapag-Lloyd account representative.
