The revision reflects recent fluctuations in marine fuel prices since the last BAF update.  

Effective 1 September 2026, the revised BAF rates will be differentiated by cargo category:  

• Standard Ro-Ro units (e.g., passenger vehicles, light commercial vehicles);  

• Heavy rolling units, including articulated trucks, construction machinery (on wheels or tracks), specialized duty vehicles, agricultural equipment, and livestock transporters.  

Modifications to the BAF structure aim to ensure cost recovery alignment with current bunker cost trends while maintaining transparency and operational consistency across trade lanes.
