The service will be branded as CIW2 under Sinotrans’ commercial portfolio, establishing a new end-to-end container shipping loop connecting major ports across China, Southeast Asia, Sri Lanka, and India.
The CIW2 loop is deployed with six container vessels, each with a nominal capacity of approximately 6,000 TEUs.
Port rotation follows the sequence: Qingdao → Xiamen → Nansha → Shenzhen (Dachan) → Port Klang → Colombo → Nhava Sheva → Mundra → Port Klang → Qingdao.
This strategic enhancement strengthens Sinotrans’ service coverage along the China–India trade corridor and expands connectivity to key regional transshipment hubs—including Port Klang and Colombo—thereby improving network resilience and cargo routing flexibility.
