The vessel "Sapphire" marked the inaugural call at JAXPORT under this expanded service.

The weekly service rotation connects Qingdao, Ningbo, and Shanghai (China); Busan (South Korea); Manzanillo (Panama); Cartagena (Colombia); Charleston and Savannah (USA); Jacksonville (USA); and Kingston (Jamaica), before returning to Busan.

Transit times from North Asia to Jacksonville range from approximately 28 to 32 days.

Leveraging ZIM’s transshipment hubs in Kingston and Cartagena, shippers gain seamless access to additional markets—including the west coast of South America.

The expansion further strengthens coverage across Latin America, with direct or transshipped services now available to Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, and Guyana. Aruba has been added to JAXPORT’s Caribbean network—complementing existing connections with Curaçao and Panama. Moreover, the service enables onward connectivity to major Mediterranean ports, including those in Italy, Greece, Israel, and Egypt, while reinforcing trade links with China, Vietnam, and Singapore.

All vessels deployed on the ZCP-Amberjack service are dual-fuel LNG-powered and capable of LNG bunkering during port calls at Jacksonville.
