The meeting was attended by Mr. Aibek Kapar, Acting General Director of KTZ Express, and Mr. Huang Feiwu, General Director of the Logistics and Supply Chain Management Division at COSCO SHIPPING Lines. Discussions centered on deepening multimodal connectivity among Kazakhstan, China, Central Asia, and Europe—particularly through integrated rail-sea and rail-road linkages.
Key collaborative priorities identified include: (i) development of the Aktau Container Hub; (ii) implementation of the Midia Port Terminal Project; (iii) enhancement of containerized transport along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR); and (iv) expansion of coordinated maritime shipping services.
Following the dialogue, both parties reaffirmed their shared commitment to strengthening institutional cooperation and agreed to establish a joint working mechanism to advance concrete, time-bound initiatives that support the efficiency, resilience, and sustainability of Eurasian trade corridors.
