The revised service features an optimized port rotation—Tokyo, Yokohama, Nagoya, Kobe, Busan, Gwangyang, Kaohsiung, Chu Lai, Laem Chabang, Ho Chi Minh City, and back to Tokyo—designed to deliver consistent weekly sailings and reduced transit variability across key Asian trade lanes.
This updated network improves end-to-end planning certainty for customers, with particular benefits for temperature-controlled cargo, including refrigerated exports from Vietnam and Thailand to Japan. Transit times from Southeast Asia to Japan have been shortened, enhancing efficiency for reefer and other time-sensitive shipments.
A dedicated Japan–Busan leg further integrates the JTVS into global liner networks, facilitating seamless transshipment and broader coverage. The service also introduces dedicated port coverage at Chu Lai and a Saturday call at Kaohsiung—strategically expanding capacity and flexibility for regional cargo flows.
CNC stated that the JTVS enhancement reflects its continued commitment to network optimization, operational resilience, and responsive alignment with evolving customer needs across the Asia-Pacific region.
